safety is a very large part of what we take into account at cork & feather.  we absolutely love our cats and would never want to put them in harms way.  that is why we only use natural products, carefully sourced and expertly assembled with care so as to limit potential hurt or injury.  of all of the toys we purchased, not one of them had any built-in safety features and they were loaded with plastic, dyes, synthetic materials and other harmful products.  your cats deserve the best and with cork & feather cat toys that is what you are going to receive.  for example, our spinning wand and chase toys "pop" apart at a certain amount of force, thus protecting your cat and your toy.  If it "pops" apart, simply insert the swivel back into the tubing and resume playtime.
